A private drive to the Ancient city of Kamiros , the city was built on three levels. At the top of the hill was the Acropolis, with the temple complex of Athena Kameiras and the stoa. A reservoir having a capacity of 600 cubic meters of water, enough for up to 400 families constructed about the sixth century BC. Later, the stoa was built over the reservoir. The stoa consisted of two rows of Doric columns with rooms for shops or lodgings in the rear. On the lower terrace there is a Doric temple dedicated to Apollo, the Fountain house with the Agora square , and the Peribolos of Altars dedicated to several deities. The city itself was founded by the Dorians. The temple foundations begun at least as early as the eighth century BC destroyed by an earthquake at 226 BC, another earthquake destroyed the city more at 142 AD. The Acropolis was excavated by Alfred Bilioti and Auguste Salzmann between 1852 and 1864.

We begin from the starting location (ship/hotel) travel through the west side passing by Ialysos city of the three Ancient cities , now a modern city, continuing having the Aegean sea next to us and passing through several beautiful traditional villages such as Theologos (Word of God) with its village built from the bottom to the top of the hill, Fanes with its natural bay, a yachts port now, Kalavarda with its countless seafood restaurants most of them with their own fishermen, until we reach Ancient Kamiros, make a full stop so you can enjoy the Ancient city itself, take pictures and learn the actual history and mythology of the Ancient city.
We will make our way back , we can make a stop for lunch in any of the delicious seafood restaurants , stop for some souvenirs or head straight back.

All our drives are in Mercedes-benz limo cars.
All our drivers speak English fluently but there is always the choice of a different language driver available.
Lunch or food will always be available in any of the destination or in a close range of one.
The entrance fee to Ancient Kamiros is 6 euro per person.
Price you will receive from us includes everything except food and entrance fees to Ancient city, prices are per vehicle (8 person per vehicle).
The duration of the drive is 3-4 hours.
